Trulia is currently seeking a rock star "Technical Client Support Engineer" (Sales Engineer) to join our growing customer operations team. In this role, you will be the primary technical contact for the customer support, sales, and business development teams.
Responsibilities
• Be the main technical contact for the Customer Support, Sales and Business Development teams. This includes: • Writing complex queries against MySQL databases that would enable the sales and business development team in pitching/closing deals as well as retaining existing clients. • Completing any custom PHP development work and Bash shell scripting necessary for revenue-generating deals. • Identifying and fixing client issues on a daily basis.
Requirements
• 4+ years of solid experience with MYSQL 4.x and 5.x • 4+ years of work experience with Linux and PHP. • Solid understanding of XML technology and web services such as SOAP • Experience programming in shell scripting and/or PERL • 1+ years in a sales engineer position • Experience working with C-level clients • Superior attention to detail • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience • Familiarity with real estate industry a plus, but not necessary
